WHO Thailand Library is located at the WHO Country Office for Thailand on the 5th floor of the Ministry of Public Health building, Tiwanon Road, Bangkok, Thailand.

The library serves the information needs of WHO staff members and policy makers, researchers, scientists and health professionals in Thailand. It functions as the primary source of WHO information for Thailand and Thailand Health information for the WHO.

The Library also advocates, promotes and supports health information management and dissemination activities in Thailand through National Health Literature, Library and Information Services (HELLIS) network.

Collections of WHO Thailand Library can be searched by simply typing your search words into the search box above and click at "Go". This site also provides Federated Search facilities to search WHO Union Catalog, WHO SEAR Institutional Repositories and Index Medicus for South-East Asia Region (IMSEAR).

A workshop on Digital Repositories will be organized at the Faculty of Public Health, Mahidol University from January 24 to 26, 2012, by Network for WHO Collaboration Centres and Centres of Expertise, Thailand (NEW_CCET) in collaboration with WHO Country Office for Thailand and WHO Regional Offive for South-East Asia.

the workshop will cover installation and setting up of Digital Repositories with DSpace system from MIT and hands on sessions on creation, data entry and maintence of digital repository. NEW-CCET Team together with WHO Thailand WHO SEARO Team will be there in full force.

A Workshop on management and dissemination of Disaster Health Information in WHO South-East Asia Region was organized on 15 - 25 November, 2009 at the Gran Melia Hotel in Jakarta, Indonesia.

The workshop was attended by Emergency and Humanitarian Action specialists from WHO SEAR Member States, National HELLIS librarians and WHO staff members in the region. Miss Treenuch from WHO Thailand participated in the workshop.

The workshop laid down foundations on identification, selection, processing, archoval and dissemination of disaster health information in the region.
